Kumusta! We’re excited to welcome you to Turo Turo Filipino BBQ & Grill, your new neighbourhood spot for modern Filipino flavours in the heart of Tooting.

What Does Turo Turo Mean?
Turo Turo (originally pronounced “Turu-Turo”) means “point point” in the Philippines — a nod to the simple way people pick their food by pointing at what they want. But for us, the name means more than that.

Turo Turo originally started as a humble street food stall by our founder, chef Rex De Guzman, back in 2018 in South East London. What began as a pop-up serving Filipino BBQ and street food has now grown into a modern Filipino BBQ & Grill in the heart of Tooting — still true to those vibrant, bold flavours and that original street food spirit.
What’s on the Menu?
Get ready for smoky BBQ pork skewers, flame grill spiced chicken Inasal, sizzling sisig, garlic rice, tangy pickled carrot atchara, and Filipino favourites like Prawn Ginataan, Crispy Kare Kare and Pancit — all done our way. If you’re up for a real food adventure, gather your crew for a boodle fight — a lively Filipino feast served on banana leaves and eaten with your hands. It’s the ultimate sharing experience!

Why Tooting?
Tooting’s buzzing food scene and diverse community make it the perfect home for our first bricks and mortar site to introduce our take on Filipino BBQ. We can’t wait to share our modern spin on Filipino classics with you. Find us here
